Susanna Reynolds Arscott,
Vice President

Before undertaking his dream of home design and construction, David Arscott had an extensive career in urban planning and urban economics. He specialized in land use, environmental, and transportation planning for the City of Toronto in Ontario, Canada in the 1970’s. In the 1980’s he founded the corporate development department for Canada’s largest commercial real estate brokerage firm, Royal LePage in Toronto. He moved to brokerage at LePage, specializing in office buildings in the financial district of downtown Toronto, and became one of top agents in Canada. He moved to Austin in 1994 to develop single-family subdivisions and multi-family communities. He designed the first SOS subdivision in Southwest Austin, and has liaised with the City of Austin on numerous urban planning issues.

Susanna Reynolds Arscott began her studies at UT in Architecture and Interior Design, and graduated with a degree in Economics while beginning a career in real estate. In 1991 she joined a local commercial brokerage firm as an assistant, and later became a broker specializing in marketing and client representation for single-family, multi-family, and retail development land; but her long term interest was in older, central Austin neighborhoods and the challenge of compatible and complementary urban infill. Her passion lies in the interior design of the homes, and ensuring that exceptional craftsmanship is carried through from the most formal of spaces to the systems of work and storage areas.

David concentrates on the overall design, budget, and construction of the projects, client relations, business development, as well as contributing his expertise to municipal and regional issues.

Susanna concentrates on the interior design of spec homes, marketing, business development, and keeping up with a busy 11-year old.

The family enjoys hiking, biking, camping, and skiing in their spare time.
